Ferrari is showing off the 562 horsepower car with improvements to fuel consumption and CO2 emissions that, they say, sets the benchmark in this segment. Using a mid-rear mounted 4.5-liter V8 engine, the 458 goes from 0-100 km/h in under 3.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of 325 km/h. The driver controls the engine with the Getrag F1 transmission, a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It has a 407 hp to tonne power-to-weight ratio, with a dry weight of about 1380 kg.
